Lúnasa – The Morning Nightcap
הצינה הגיעה בבת-אחת, ללא אזהרה מוקדמת. הייתי באמצע חלום מתוק עליה ופתאום התעוררתי אל תוך חשיכה וקור.
The chill came at once, without warning. I was in the middle of a sweet dream about her and suddenly woke up into darkness and cold.
כילדה, אני זוכרת את אמי חובשת מצנפת שינה. לשאלתי, למה זה טוב, ענתה שזה נגד הקור בלילה, שלא יהיה קר בראש. איני זוכרת את עצמי חובשת כזו.
As a child, I remember my mother wearing a nightcap. When I asked what was it for, she replied that it was against the cold at night, to keep the head warm. I don't remember myself wearing that.
