The Human Being as an Existential Metamorphosis of Infinity

One thing still haven't lost its charm
This odd urge to hate
To hate a lot hard and good
To hate until you become yellow
The Yellows Song/ The Tarnegolim
What causes us to deliberately hate those we don't know? How come so many nations hate others without knowing anything about them? The English have the Frogs to hate (until this day!), the Frogs are dripped with anti-Semitism and hatred to any stranger as such, especially towards those who don't speak their language. Try asking a French person (on the street, for example), something in a language that is not French, and you will regret immediately due to the stare you get while innocent of any crime.
Ten Kabin (biblical measure equal to 1.3 litters) of feelings went down to the world, what percentage of them dribbles love and what dribbles hate?
In our sources, such in Chazal and the Talmud, there is mention of the disaster that happened in the time of Counting the Omer due to unjustified hatred: Twelve thousand couples of pupils were to Rabbi Akiva from Gvat to Antiperes and all died in one period, from Passover to Azeret (Hag Shavuot), because they didn't respect each other. And the world is destroyed… (Yevamot chapter 52 phrase 62)
Indeed, the world is destroyed when people are being killed in vain.
Unjustified Hatred: this is an unpractical hatred, where somebody hates the other without any practical reason, only because the other has a different way of thinking or because they belong to a different group. Chazal mentioned in Yoma tractate (page 9 column 2) that The Second Temple was destroyed only due to the unjustified hatred that existed between varies groups which couldn't tolerate each other (from the entry Hatred in Wikipedia).
Indeed, hatred is a legitimate feeling and one can't deny the fact that it comes from within us and inflames in us an evil flame deep in our bones; but I can't understand how one can hate those who never caused them any harm, especially those they don't know. Is it just because they are different to us? Is it because we were brought up wrongly?
The Pretenders / A thin line between love and hate
In essence:
Isn't it pointless to hate in vain?
